Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and acrobat. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". However, she's primarily musician. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled in since she was only 9 years old. By the time she reached age 12, she took music seriously enough to begin professional training. At the age of 13, she started writing her own music. The album that she first released didn't come out until 14 years later. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic ancestry. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the language. "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at the Seattle audition. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood week" she was placed along with three female vocalists to form a trio during the remainder of the auditions. The group was eliminated at conclusion of the fifth performance.
