Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and acrobat. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' But, she is to be primarily as a musician. Since she was 9 years of age, she began exploring music. When she reached 12 years old, her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her album of covers at the age of 14. It hasn't turned to the past since. Orrantia, born in America, has Hispanic ancestry. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite using English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she tries to maintain the spirit of her culture. She has recorded the Spanish version of the song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of the X Factor after she submitted a YouTube audition video. She received an impressive four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage show in Seattle. Her initial audition was for solo performance, however, during "Hollywood week" she was put together with three female singers to form a trio during the remaining auditions.
