Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy papers. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating after which she resigned and purchased a tiny food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. They spent 18 years making the business extremely profitable before letting it go before putting pen to paper to write her first cookbook. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns followed. In the meantime she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. Its products include the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials to storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor was employed at a restaurant. Ina is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her simple approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment. The most well-known recipes she has created are the lemon chicken skeillet, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
